Why Memberships

I offer yearly membership plans in my practice because the most productive partnerships involve mutual investment.  Committing to a professional healthcare partnership allows us to discover what is foundational to your health and overcome obstacles so that you can get the best results possible. 

This might be different than any healthcare decision that you’ve made before. Perhaps you’ve never paid out-of-pocket for health care services before.  You might have been disappointed in past healthcare relationships.  You may wonder whether you will be able to put in the effort and make the changes necessary to benefit from working with me.

This is an important decision. Your health is your life. If you’re ready to feel strong, resilient, and vibrantly healthy for life, I’m here to help you.

What’s Included

The core elements of new memberships are:

• A comprehensive initial visit including a physical exam and an extensive review of your medical history, previous lab results, and health concerns

• Regular follow-up visits throughout the remainder of the year, as necessary to make progress on your health goals

• Support, encouragement, and accountability to help you make beneficial changes in your life

• Handouts, guides, and other helpful resources

• Access to specialized laboratory testing, where appropriate, at wholesale pricing

• Access to the highest quality professional supplements at maximally-discounted prices

• Special rates and membership packages for multiple family members and for patients continuing beyond one year of membership

As your partner in health, I promise to:

• Work with you to create a treatment path that aligns with your priorities and style of change

• Support your efforts and track your progress, troubleshooting and making changes in your plan as necessary so you have an efficient path to your goals

• Prioritize long-term strategies that will enable you to maintain and even build on the improvements that you’ve made in partnership with me

• Be available for quick questions or clarifications between visits by email or phone so you never need to feel confused or stuck

• Provide you with action steps, different perspectives to consider, and resources to explore in between our sessions

• Spend a considerable amount of time outside of our visits thinking about your specific situation, analyzing laboratory findings, considering and adjusting your treatment plan, answering your questions, and researching your condition

• Hold sacred your right to health freedom and bodily autonomy

• Protect your health privacy

• Keep growing spiritually and expanding my understanding of human health so that I am always offering you my best

Investment

Our first meeting will be a 120-minute comprehensive new patient visit. For children, the first meeting will be 60 minutes long.

The cost of an initial adult visit is $495, and the cost of an initial child visit is $295. This fee covers our time together and the time I spend considering your history, concerns, and any lab results you submit to me at least a week before that visit.  I book new patient appointments 2-6 weeks in advance.  I require full advance payment in order to schedule your first visit.  This payment includes a $200 nonrefundable deposit in the event that you cancel your appointment within 72 hours of your appointment time.

After an initial visit, patients become eligible for an annual healthcare membership.

I do not recommend extensive specialty laboratory testing, expensive medications and other treatments, or long lists of supplements. Unlike most alternative, holistic, and functional healthcare providers, I do not profit from the sale of supplements or laboratory testing because doing so creates a conflict of interests. I honestly want you to be well, not for you to be dependent on services or products.

If I recommend and prescribe a medication, hospital test, or procedure that requires prior-authorization from your insurance company, I will submit the information your insurance company requires.

I do not bill insurance companies for my services. Past patients have not found success requesting reimbursement for fees paid for my services as an out-of-network provider, and for that reason I no longer provide itemized billing summaries. I do not provide medical notes for submission to insurance carriers. I do not assist with insurance claim resolution.
